Egoism

At times, we tend to be ego. When we think that we are better and more superior than the others, we tend to show our ego side to our friends and people around us. Have you ever thought of the effects of being egoistic?
In fact, what can we get after showing our ego side? Can we get things done? Are we richer by a thousand dollars in our account? Do we get more friends? We get nothing after the split-second of so-called "superiority and glory."

funny that you should be writing on this topic. a guy i chatted with last night described me as "ego". "ego" is "your sense of your own value and importance" or "the part of the mind which is responsible for your sense of who you are" (courtesy of Oxford Advanced Learner's Dictionary, 2005. haha...! ;p). i think it's perfectly alright to have your own ego. what we don't want or hate to see is that when somebody is being "egocentric" or "egoistic" as well as when somebody has the issues of "egoism" or "egomania".
P/S: for the full definition of what "egocentric", "egoistic", "egoism" and "egomania", please refer to your English Language 'Bible' (Oxford Dictionary lah!);p hehe...
P/P/S: i terdelete indah my comment tek, haha... nasib bait kmk dah copy... hehe... sorry...
